The Okemah Community Scholarship Program
Hello Former Okemah Residents:
The Okemah Community Historical Foundation will be awarding a scholarship this year in May 2024, to a graduating high school junior or senior of Okemah descent who is aspiring to go to college. If you know of any descendent of the Phoenix-area Okemah Community, please have them apply for our scholarship at their high school or click on the links below to download the instructions and application form.
The scholarship information is available in all Phoenix Union High District schools and surrounding high school districts. If a student currently lives out of state, please have them click the link below to download the instructions and application form.
The Okemah Community Historical Foundation membership is working hard to help fund the cost of education for great minds of the future. We rely almost entirely on the contributions of the community—donors, non-profit organizations, and other sources—to fund this important program.
